The DNZ series secondary shredder is primarily used behind the ASC-LP series of automatic hemming shearers.
It is a slow-running shredding machine equipped with two profile rotors running against each other.
With the post-shredding machine, all pre-shredded materials such as coated and uncoated chipboard, MDF boards, hardboard, mineral boards as well as many other materials can be shredded to a uniform, blowable granulate.
It is also possible to shred residual pieces that fall in the cutting process, which do not exceed a certain length and area dimension.
The DNZ series is supplied with drive motors from 2x15 kW to 2x37 kW.
The capacities vary depending on the machine size and the size of the sieve for chipboard, for example, between 800 kg and 20,000 kg per hour.
The material to be shredded is fed either manually or mechanically. The machine is then started. Two profile rotors running against each other grab the short material lying in the machine and shred it by cutting over two fixed counter knife bars. The heart of the DNZ series are the two profile rotors with reversible crushing plates made of special steel. This produces a very homogeneous granulate. The size of this granulate depends on the hole diameter of the perforated screen. The machine is relatively insensitive to nails, metal, staples as well as other foreign bodies that may be in the material to be shredded.
The shredded material can be either sucked out or discharged from the machine by a screw conveyor. The DNZ types are supplied ready for operation with complete electrical control. All feeding or discharging conveyors are available on request.
