RICON S connectors are the solution for slender timber frame construction having unique assembly options.
KNAPP's RICON S is ideal for heavy-duty, non-visible, load-bearing connections in timber frame construction, mass timber, and halls. It offers a load capacity of up to 230 kN. Thanks to its high degree of prefabrication, assembly time is significantly reduced.
RICON S is not only suitable for conventional timber connections but also for concrete and steel connections. The three- and four-sided concealed connections are hermetically sealed and meet all fire protection requirements. In addition, RICON S connections have a self-securing system that shortens assembly time on site by a minimum. Thus, rapid finished assembly of all elements is ensured.
Safety
High-quality hot-dip galvanising provides RICON S with excellent corrosion protection. On request, the connectors are available with a duplex coating, which makes the connecting system suitable for farms, barns, or indoor swimming pools.
In addition, the connector has European approval (ETA), UK Technical Assessment (UKTA), CE marking, and approval for hardwoods as well. Tests performed by the Karlsruhe KIT confirm its outstanding quality.
