The new Roba Fusion is a continuous shaping machine for two-sided machining of furniture parts. The special construction with short overall length, scanner-based part width measurement and high-speed servo positioning of the processing units allows a high material throughput without having to consider part sizes.
Laser-based part measurement, job lists from the ERP system or RFID/barcodes can be used for processing.
Four 11KW HSK63 milling spindles, which work in synchronous and reverse operation, are supplied with tools by two tool changers.The milling machine can be combined with the Roba REP edge sander, which sands the workpieces with the same mechanical logic, plus a material handling system that returns the parts to the beginning of the line or transfers them to subsequent machines.
This creates a powerful lot-size-one line for complete machining of part edges.
