The universal shredders are slow-running, quiet machines for shredding residual materials or reducing waste volumes to a uniform granule or chip size.
The DUZ series is supplied with drive motors from 15-45 kW.
The capacities vary between 0.6m3 and 5.5m3 per hour depending on the machine size and screen size.
The universal shredders of the DUZ series can be used to shred all types of wood waste, such as splinters, slabs, pallets, cuttings, coated and uncoated chipboard, as well as other materials. The material to be shredded is fed either manually or mechanically.
The machine is then started. A hydraulically controlled feed unit presses the amount of wood onto the slowly running profile rotor. The feed is controlled load-dependently, so that the machine requires only a low kW connection.
The heart of the DUZ series is the profile rotor with reversible crushing plates made of special steel. This achieves a very homogeneous chipping granulate. The size of the granules depends on the hole diameter of the perforated screen.
The machine is relatively insensitive to nails, metal, staples as well as other foreign bodies that may be in the material to be shredded.
The shredded material can be either sucked out or discharged from the machine by a screw.
The DUZ types are supplied ready for operation with complete electrical control. All feeding and discharging conveyors are available on request.
