The VMP HeatUp product family with the Professional and Industrial models is an innovative ‘one-machine solution’ for the thermoplastic moulding of a wide range of solid surface materials and plastics, as well as for pressing applications in woodworking.
Solid surface materials and thermoplastics (such as ABS, acrylic glass, Kydex, etc.) can be heated stress-free in the integrated preheating station.
The technology consists of direct contact heating using an electric aluminium heating plate, which guarantees gentle and homogeneous heat distribution over the entire surface and thickness of your material.
The welded frame construction also ensures maximum stability. The standard, oil-lubricated vacuum pump generates a vacuum of up to 99.9 % and ensures a pressure of up to 10 tonnes/m². Supported by the total vacuum tank volume of 200 litres, you can evacuate the pressing chamber at record speed.
In terms of convenience, the VMP HeatUp offers a PLC control system with touchscreen operation as standard. This includes both a manual and an automatic mode. As an option, the PLC has a data logger for vacuum and temperature to fulfil even the most demanding process requirements.
