FZC rotary valves are used for conveying bulk solids (such as sawdust, chips) between two separate systems for example between a cyclone and a silo. The FZC rotary valves also work as ATEX protection system - they isolate explosion that might occur inside silos or dust collectors. In case of explosion the valves work as airlock - they stop rotating and prevent the pressure and flame of the explosion from spreading to other parts of a system.
Our FZC-STD rotary valves are equipped with a cased rotor propelled by an electric motor with a mechanical transmission. The rotor is welded and reinfoced with th use of additional bulkhead connectrs making the valve stronger and more resistant. The motor is
connected with the transmission with the use of a chain clutch, which enables a mild start of the device.
FZC STD rotary valves comply with the essential provisions of the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26th February 2014 on the harmonisation of the laws of the Member States relating to equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
FZC rotary valves are produced in the following dimensions: FZC-500, FZC-750 and FZC-1000.
