Product description (English) SACOL -HI 4747 is a specialty accelerator, ready for use together with isocyanate-based adhesives of OSB, particleboard, MDF and other wood-based composites.
It is specifically designed to sufficently accelerate the curing of polymeric Methylene diphenyl Dilsocyanate (pMDI), emulsified Methylene diphenyl Dilsocyanate (eMDI) and other isocyanate-based adhesives with minimum cost contribution. This product accelerates the curing of the binder at elevated temperatures, i.e. in the press, with minimum effect on the shelf life of the furnish. Depending on the adhesive and application line characteristics, up to 20% wt of solid SACOL-HI 4747 per wt isocyanate provenly accelerates production to the desired speed.
SACOL-HI 4747 is a translucent, free-flowing, aqueous solution of practically neutral pH, light ammonia-like smell and 100% active ingredients content. It is shipped in 1400kg containers (IBC's) and when stored under recommended conditions, this product has an extended life time.
