"At LIGNA, we want to arouse curiosity among our customers and partners about our innovations and developments of recent years. We will be able to present some of these innovations at the show, and many other solutions have been realized in customer-specific projects in recent years. We also want to bring these closer to all interested parties," announces IMA Schelling CEO Wolfgang Rohner and adds: "LIGNA is still the leading trade show in the industry. Especially after this long break, we are looking forward to interesting discussions with friends from all over the world." The IMA Schelling Group from Lübbecke is placing its appearance at LIGNA 2023 in Hanover under the motto WOOD Vibes, underlined by a concentrated level of solutions expertise both in wood processing and for the panel industry - presented at no less than two stands.
Comprehensive system competence in woodworking
The Woodworking section can be found at booth D50 in Hall 12, where visitors can see the Combima combined sizing and edge banding machine and the highly flexible IMAGIC L1 drilling machine, as well as the fh 5 panel sizing saw with robot handling. The live experience is not limited to three efficient, individually adaptable high-tech machines for different types of wood processing. The new aimi software developed in-house by IMA Schelling, which is responsible for controlling and networking the machines as well as the entire plant, will also be presented. "The machines at LIGNA demonstrate our comprehensive system competence in wood processing," emphasizes Simon Waterbär, Director of Sales at IMA Schelling Group. "Not only do we offer a comprehensive portfolio of sophisticated machines, but with aimi we also provide an end-to-end software solution that is ideally matched to the machines and offers all options for networking the machines and controlling the plant."
Conveying, lifting, sorting and storing panels
At booth E46 in Hall 26, the Board business unit will in turn provide an overview of its technologies for conveying, lifting, sorting and storing boards. With its intelligent and high-quality cutting, logistics and packaging solutions, the business unit is particularly targeting manufacturers in the fields of fiberboard, plywood panels and solid wood panels, as well as panel finishers. And here, too, the event character is not to be neglected: Together with two regional partner companies from Austria, Künz Kranbau and LTW Intralogistics, IMA Schelling Board will present itself as an attractive partner for high-quality automation solutions in the panel-producing industry.
