These automatic precision wet knife grinding machines from MARUNAKA are excellently suitable for rough and finish (lapping) grinding of knifes from lengthwise slicers among others.
The max. grinding lengths are 1,500 resp. 2,000 mm. Other lengths on special request. The clamping width of the magnetic table is max. 200 mm.
Most ergonomic loading and unloading of the knife. Environmental and automatic separation of the swarf in conjunction with the setting (cooling) tank.
Due to the combination of rough grinding and lapping of the knife an incredible precision but also highest surface quality would be achieved during slicing of veneer or lamellae (slats).
Especially due to the lapping process the live time of the knife increases significantly.
Veneer knives which are only rough grinded have definitely reduced live time and the surface quality whether veneer or lamellae (slats) is poor.
