The autotec Skater Vario – a base with many possibilities
The new autotec Skater Vario serves as a chassis for various stapling and nailing devices from BeA and KMR. The advanced technology offers clear advantages for professional users:
• Time savings in timber frame construction
• Less physical strain
• Precise, secure serial fastening
In view of the shortage of skilled workers and physically demanding tasks, the need for automation is increasing – even in the skilled trades. Skater technology is an economical alternative to stationary nail bridges for planking. It saves time and improves the fastening quality compared to the manual method.
A key feature: the Skater Vario allows both classic 30° and 0° fastening. With adaptation to Eurocode 5, the number of fasteners required can be reduced – a significant cost advantage. The system also shortens assembly time for serial fastening. It is pulled across the work surface and triggers at predefined intervals (40–200 mm). Alignment grooves and edge stops ensure precise working along pre-marked lines.
The adjustable stop ensures standard-compliant edge distances without time-consuming pre-marking. Manual release is also possible, which is ideal for panel joints or reworking. No-mark wheels prevent running and pressure marks.
Ergonomic working in a comfortable upright position instead of kneeling is made possible by the height- and angle-adjustable stand handle, which is available as an optional accessory. For two-man operation, the Skater can be equipped with a long handle, allowing elements up to 3 m wide to be processed efficiently.
The autotec Skater Vario – faster, more ergonomic and safer. Equipped as standard with a release lock for maximum work safety.
