Technical Features
Metal detector protects from damage drum chipper against undesirable metal pieces.
The oscillator and receiver coils, embedded in hard foam, are each housed in welded steel sheet casing.
The inner detection area surfaces are covered with hard PVC sheet.
The lateral parts are welded to the top casing and fixed by screws to the bottom part for easy installation
The search coil produces a normally balanced alternating magnetic field; in case a metal piece passing trough, it distorts this field.
The distortion is amplified in the electronics and produces a detection signal.
For minimizing conveyor vibration effect and to insulate the search coil from the construction, the machine it is fitted with 8 shock absorbers.
The search coil is fixed to the conveyor frame or a separate support using these shock absorbers.
