TS Manufacturing Bandmills provide greater cutting accuracy, resulting in reduced sawdust & improved recovery. They are available in sizes of 48", 60", 72", 84" and in vertical, slant, and horizontal configurations.
Their Hydraulic High Strain system provides fast response through a nitrogen charged accumulator, while providing stability and rigidity. The direct acting strain system provides consistent strain response throughout its travel, unlike 'eccentric' strain systems that can overtravel and understrain a saw. They have a patented tilt and strain mechanism with less moving parts (and nitrogen charging) offering the quickest response times in the industry. Each bandmill is designed for over 35,000 lbs of strain.
Their fabricated steel wheels allow for safer operation, while the narrow, double column profile increases stiffness, and decreases arbor stress to hold precision alignments longer. (This allows for close coupling in multi-saw layouts.
