Description
The HS200 has been the standard for years when it comes to horizontal finger joints.
The HS200 combines timber utilization and performance like no other machine of its kind. Wood input lengths from 110 to 900mm can be processed at a speed of up to 200 parts/min. Adjustability in the 1/100mm range minimizes the offset of a joint and thus the planing dimension to a minimum. With the possibility of producing shoulder profiles without visible joints, the HS200 is ideal for applications with high optical requirements. (Blank slats for furniture production).
Each workpiece is individually processed and glued in the router. Scoring saws prevent tears in the surface of the workpieces, a hogger creates an ideal processing surface and the routing tool cuts the finger joint. A glue comb applies the glue precisely to the flanks of the finger joint before they are pressed into a lamella in the press. Automatic quality checks within the milling machine prevent faulty workpieces from ending up in the finished lamella.
The HS is rounded off with the presentation of various infeed mechanizations. Both with the aim of reducing the number of operators required to a minimum. Robots autonomously supply the finger-jointing line with material from a feed belt. The position of the parts is not relevant for the robots. Using an automatic pre-sorting system, each workpiece is visually checked against customer-specific requirements before it enters the finger jointing line.
