Combining a thick, high quality backing paper with a new silicon carbide grain and patented selective coating technology, the Mirka Ultimax Black gives a better and more consistent finishing quality even in the coarser grits. Highly resistant to breakage, folding and twisting, the antistatic Ultimax Black delivers exceptional sanding quality from start to finish with reduced material waste. The surface cavities prevent clogging and reduce the temperature of the sanding process while increasing the surface pressure on each single sanding grain, helping the abrasive stay sharp for longer, contributing to a high removal rate and a lower scratch pattern.
