Master of Science in Wood Technology (M.Sc.) - Joint Degree of Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences (D) and Bern University of Applied Sciences, Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering (CH)
Duration: 3 semesters full-time or 6 semesters part-time - Teaching language: English - Credit Points (CP): 90
Expanding skills in relation with the most recent technologies in the timber industry as well as active participation in research and industry projects are at the core of the Master Degree Programme. In the first semester students will explore in-depth the basics of mathematics and sciences and improve competence in the field of Information Technology and management. In the second semester specialised topics will be treated. In the third semester the master studies are completed by the master´s thesis.
The graduates of both universities are experts who master the newest technologies in an international environment. The knowledge and skills acquired, being also firmly rooted in practical application, will enable the graduates to become valuable assets to businesses in private enterprise, public services or institutes in the timber, machine and process industries as well as in timber construction/redevelopment and interior engineering. The graduates will be able to find work in sectors of activity such as planning, project management, production, marketing and distribution, quality control as well as in research and teaching.
