Our pioneering Fiber2Fiber process enables the recycling of MDF, HDF, THDF and wood fiber insulation boards, including post-consumer material. The recycled fibers can be used to produce new fiberboard. Fiber2Fiber includes “Osiris,” Unilin’s patented fiberboard recycling technology, proven on an industrial scale in Unilin’s MDF plant in Bazeilles, France. The Fiber2Fiber process requires minimal energy consumption. It is suitable for nearly all types of fiberboard, including production residues and post-consumer material. The process includes inline fiber cleaning and reusing process steam, making it highly efficient and sustainable.
