Optimize CNC Nesting Process.
CNC nesting software to nest and optimize project parts onto a wood panel to reduce material waste. SWOOD Nesting is a bolt-on to SWOOD CAM.
SWOOD Nesting allows the nesting of all the parts in a project to optimize the raw material.
Moreover, the manual nesting feature can move the parts in case of damage to a part of the nesting sheets.
Since all SWOOD solutions are interconnected, changes made in the design area are automatically reflected in the manufacturing area. The CNC machine programs can therefore be updated, as well as the associated Nesting programs.
With the nesting module, replace the need to saw the panels before starting the machining of the parts. All contouring and 3-axis machining is done directly on the CNC nesting machine.
It is much easier to hold small parts in position on CNC nesting machines compared to a conventional suction cup machine. Machining cycles are also reduced because the operator does not have to reload the machine for each part.
